Renal Embolisation is procedure done for blocking branch or subbranch of renal artery to decrease it’s vascularity.
Following are the cases in which it can be done
1. Renal tumors
2. Renal pseudo aneurysm formed during urological procedure
3. Artery-venous fistula

-it is diagnosed by Renal angiography

Patient when confirmed with leakage, renal artery is hooked with RD catheter and leaking sub-branch is wired. Then microcatheter is advanced through wire and gelfoam or coil are lodged into leaking vessel. Finally check shots are taken to achieve hemostasis.
We have done such fifteen cases with good results.
